The best of Milton Keynes softball was celebrated at the recent end of season awards night at Brewhouse and Kitchen. The event was hot on the heels of the League Final, Codebreakers Cup and planning for the new indoor season. Hornets capture 3rd League Title
The Homerun Hornets claimed their 3rd league crown in 4 years following a 12-8 victory over the Willow Lakers in the MKSL League Final on September 3rd. The Lakers had jumped out into an early lead whilst Hornets struggled to muster any offense in the early innings. We've moved indoors for the winter!
Summer is most definitely over (boo!), but fear not, Softball is now year-round (yay!). The Milton Keynes Softball League has moved back into it's warm and dry winter home, the Radcliffe School in Wolverton. Now into it's 4th season, league games begin October 22nd culminating in the Playoffs in March 2020. Royals retain Codebreakers crown
The Leicester Royals retained the Codebreakers Cup in the second annual Milton Keynes slow-pitch softball tournament. The final was a repeat of the 2018 Codebreakers Cup, with the Royal overcoming Soft Boiled, 11-4. The 16-team tournament attracted C-grade teams from around the country and took place at Radcliffe School.
